We have learned so far that God has called us to a specific role to carry out His purpose on earth. Being grounded in our purpose allows us to share the love of Christ boldly with others, no matter our circumstances.
To be effective “Kingdom Playmakers,” we must be intentional in the way we serve and lead those around us. Every action we take means something.
It’s great to pray for our teammates, our friends and families, and even our opponents. But we also must live with the intention to display Christ through the way we act. To be a Christian means letting others see Jesus in how we speak, treat people, solve problems, and care for others.
We are the light of the world. We must shine.
Jesus was available to everyone, had compassion on the crowds, and let those the world deemed unworthy eat at his table. We are to be available to everyone, open to conversation, and willing to be a listening ear for the hurting.
Jesus did not have a spirit of judgment. He forgave the worst of sinners and invited them into a life of redemption. We shouldn’t hold a judgmental spirit but see others through God’s eyes.
Jesus was clear in his convictions. Everyone knew what he stood for, and he stayed true to those convictions even to the point of death. We should be clear in our convictions and love for Jesus. People should know who and what you stand for.
Whether you are the captain of your team or you’ve just been cut from the squad, people will notice you. They’ll see when you carry yourself differently.
As God’s children, we are his image-bearers. We were made with inherent value and divine purpose. We are called to mirror Christ, becoming living reflections of his nature. When we live like Jesus did, the light of Christ lights the darkness around us.
So let us live with purpose. Let us serve the Lord in the field He has called us. For only in living this way will we find true fulfillment.

Ask God to search your heart. Is there anything keeping you from being a Kingdom Playmaker?
Are you going through the motions or living with intention?
How can you reflect God’s purpose every day in how you train, compete, and treat people?
Prayer
“God, help us be effective Kingdom Playmakers. Give us a heart of compassion as we make ourselves accessible to all. Take away our spirit of judgement, instead letting us see others through your eyes. Grant us the courage to remain strong in our convictions, even when they are challenged. Help us love radically and change the spaces we live in. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Summary
Through Eyong’s story, we’ve learned that being a Kingdom Playmaker means living intentionally for God’s glory in every area of life. Whether in victory or setback, our purpose remains the same—to display Christ through how we serve, lead, and love others. We are not defined by our performance, but by God’s grace. When we align our goals with His calling and fix our eyes on eternity, every act of obedience becomes part of something greater—His Kingdom work.
